Manage access to HPERC Library¶
Teaching and learning materials are offered by the Henry Parkes Equity Resource Centre (HPERC) Library for use of Community Language Schools.
Library Access is granted to one representative from each Community Language School (CLS) by authorised Community Language Schools Program staff. Details on how to apply are on the Community Language Schools website: http://www.dec.nsw.gov.au/what-we-offer/community-programs
Note – A Service Desk call must be logged for Administrator access to perform this function.
HPERC - Add¶
This is used to register staff for a DoE account to enable access to the HPERC Library.
Important
Always search for the applicant first (using HPERC - Search/Remove) before creating a new record for them. They may simply require their access to be extended or moved to another School.
Select HPERC - Add Guest. This will open the Add HPERC Community Language Schools Guest page. Enter criteria into all the fields and click <Authorise>.
Note – The person entering these details is registered as the authoriser for this HPERC Guest. What this means is that they will receive any reminder emails for the pending expiry and the actual expiry of this person’s DoE account.

The authoriser receives a confirmation message informing that an email will be sent shortly with username. It also notifies the DOIS User ID for the newly registered user.

- If the HPERC account reaches its expiry date and does not get extended – the DoE Network account will be expired overnight and access to HPERC Library will no longer be available.
